RATES
Pricing per square inch
I charge 2.75 cents per square inch for most designs.
Example Pricing: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x .0275= $132
My minimum quilting charge is $65. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the
$65 minimum.
Denser quilting will have an additional cost applied.
Backing requiring adjustments will have an additional cost applied.
BATTING
Available at an additional cost
I use and stock my favourite Warm and Natural batting. Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
THREAD
I use Glide 40 weight thread, I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price. My personal style attempts to match or blend thread colour with the quilts colours. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread colour.
SHIPPING
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in Ontario, Canada and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in a bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly. I will ship your completed quilt back to you, at your expense.
PAYMENT
After the work is complete, I will invoice you. I really appreciate timely payments as that enables me to return your project back to you right away.
